Light Chemical Peel

Light chemical peels are by far the most popular of chemical peels. They are used to treat things like surface blemishes, brown spots, and general resurfacing of light skin imperfections. A patient who receives a light chemical peel may also see some signs of skin tightening. These are usually administered with the use of alpha hydroxy acid. These acids are actually natural and found in citrus fruits. They are also in many daily facial cleansers on the market today. These peels are very effective for mild symptoms. However, if one has stronger symptoms, more than one light peel may be needed. These are very mild and are sometimes applied weekly, as they only remove the outmost layer of skin.
